    Le Piagge is a farmhouse is located in a fantastic location and thanks to its position it’s possible to get to the largest variety of places, from places to walk or hike to cities of art through valleys and hills, from the Adriatic coast to the National Park of the Sibilini Mountains. Le Piagge offers an incredible wonderful panorama, surrounded by Forano’s vineyard. The countryside and hills open up, as far as the eye can see, all the way to the Sibilini Mountains. Around the house, you can find arches in the living space with a fireplace and wooden beams. The former wood storage now contains the kitchen with a Veranda that leads off it. The first floor, maintaining the original structure, is divided into four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The house can accommodate up to ten people, in double and twin rooms.

    An especially light and open house, since the ground floor has been designed with an open space.Originally this colonial house was increased in size to create room for the stables and another anex for the woodstore. Inside it is easy to see the changes in the years as an arch and original window has been carefully restored. The living and welcoming kitchen offers more space to pass the time in during the day. The first floor is divided into four double ensuite rooms. Immersed in the green, a few kilometers from short walks, to tradtional cusine and the perfume of the most, which in September, during the harvest, we recall the pace and tradition of our countryside.

General

The Fattoria Forano farm is in the beautiful Marche region. It is a magnificent estate and at an elevation of 300 metres. The landscape is characteristic of the region with delightful hills and valleys leading towards the Adriatic Sea. The estate covers 190 hectares. Twenty hectares are devoted to vineyards. The farm has four cottages which are between 100 and 150 metres apart. Le Piagge House is one of them. It is spacious, has rustic furniture and is full of atmosphere. You can see the mountains from the house on a clear day.

It’s perfectly positioned for exploring the Marche region. You can reach a wide variety of interesting places easily from here. These include the Monti Sibillini National Park, many picturesque medieval villages and the towns of Treia, lOreto, Recanati and Macerata. The Adriatic Sea is also well worth a visit.

Macerata

Macerata is one of the Marchigian provinces, stands on a hill 314 meters in height between the Potenza and Chienti’s valleys and is known worldwide for its annual festival of Lyric Opera, which takes place in one of the most representative place of the city: the Arena Sferisterio, an amphitheater of neoclassical architecture designed by Irenaeus Aleandri. Macerata is also an important university town, one of the oldest universities in the world, founded in 1290.

Among the attractions to visit it should be noted Buonaccorsi Palace, home of the Carriage Museum (Museo della Carrozza) and a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Unification of Italy and the resistance during the war. The Palazzo Comunale overlooking the central Piazza della Libertà where are the Loggia dei Mercanti and Torre Civica, 64 meters high, where you can enjoy a wonderful view. Then there is the Teatro Lauro Rossi and Palazzo Ricci, where you can visit a collection of Italian art of the twentieth century. Among the religious monuments we can remember the Chiesa di San Paolo (St. Paul’s Church) and the Cathedral, designed by Cosimo Morelli, the nearby Basilica della Misericordia completely restored by Luigi Vanvitelli in 1742; the Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Vergini (Church of St. Mary of the Virgin) where you can see a “Epifania” by Tintoretto.
