The cottage is located in the countryside, surrounded by fields and hills that change color with the seasons of the year, in the silence and stillness, halfway between Urbino and Riccione, ideal for a stage of culture and entertainment. Pesaro Urbino

Urbino is one of the most important italian cities, it is rich in Renaissance art and architecture. In 1998, its historic center has been recognized by UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city of medieval origin, has enjoyed its heyday in the 15th century, when the Duke Federico da Montefeltro hosted in his court the greatest artists, architects and scholars of the time.
The city is a destination for all art lovers. The Palazzo Ducale is the centerpiece of the city’s historic center and home to the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche which houses one of the most important Renaissance paintings in Italy. The city is home to the university which was founded in 1564. Here was born the famous painter Raffaello Sanzio. His birthplace is now a museum where you can see a couple of his masterpieces.
Other sites to visit are the Cathedral, the church of San Giovanni Battista, the Oratory of San Giuseppe, and the tomb of the Duke of Urbino Federico da Montefeltro at the church of San Bernardino.
The Pesaro city is the capital of one of the five provinces of the Marches. Pesaro was founded at the mouth of the river Foglia and develops along 4 km of coastline. It’s a beautiful seaside resort and an important port. Also it has an industrial center of furniture production and terracotta painted, the famous majolica.
Here was born the famous composer Gioachino Rossini who has inspired the same name of opera festival, the Rossini Opera Festival, which takes place every year in Pesaro in August, proposing all his most famous operas. Who is passionate of Opera should visit the city in August, during this Festival.
You can visit the beautiful Piazza del Popolo with its beautiful fountain in the center or you can walk on the square where is the Palazzo Ducale, built in the mid 15th century by the Sforza family, recently restored. today, it is the seat of local government and an exhibition space open to the public.
Also ,not far from the main square, you can visit the birthplace of the great opera composer Gioacchino Rossini, he was born in Pesaro in 1792 and today his house has become a museum open to the public.
Most important is the Cathedral where you can admire the wonderful mosaic floor discovered in 2000. In the Civic Museum you can see one of the finest collections of Italian Renaissance and Baroque ceramics and next to this Gallery you can see the masterpiece of Giovanni Bellini and the Incoronazione della Vergine in the Pinacoteca.
